YouTube new feature – audio preview

If you read the web comic xkcd you might have seen this comic on the site, well it seems that YouTube took note and actually implemented it in the site. It’s an “Audio Preview” that reads back your comment to you before you post, only trouble is it’s an optional preview so the comment is only read back to them if they click on the button.

Thing is, will this actually work? Well I must say it seems to be, in the last post about the carcade gaming system I posted a YouTube video which has the following comment attached to it.

Well I think that’s proof it’s working, but we’ll have to wait and see if there is a decline in comment spam or if people just ignore the new feature and carry on posting hate filled comments on YouTube
