See in the dark with the new iGen Night Vision Camera

The first and the only camera that allows you to take pictures in pitch dark, the Night Owl iGen Night Vision camera is pretty impressive to say the least. It is the only camera in the world with a night scope and the added capability of taking a snap.

The pictures are taken in black and white and are pretty clear to say the least. There is also the option of shooting in colours like green, red and amber apart from the default black and white. The pictures taken are stored in the memory card that you insert.

There is also the option of connecting the night vision viewer to real-time video making it possible to record in complete darkness. Now that’s something new. The 2.6X lens gives you an abundant 70ft field of view and 650X ambient light amplification. The inbuilt infrared intelligence system automatically detects the surrounding light and adjusts according to carrying levels of darkness.

Being the first of its kind it does demand a premium at $599. But nonetheless, a pretty good thing to impress your friends with.
