Pentax announces the K2000

This new gorgeous Pentax K2000 can be yours now, albeit through preorder on the Pentax website along with shipping this February. This fantastic digital SLR is supplied with 2 lenses, an 18-55mm and a 50-200mm.

The camera itself comes with a whopping 10.2 MP, a shake reduction mechanism and a 2.7 inch high resolution screen. You also get the ISO settings up to 3200 which maximises image quality even in low light situations. There is also a feature named Advanced Auto Picture which will select the optimal picture mode based on the subject and lighting.

There is a black and white version. The black one will cost you around $800 and the very different looking white will be yours for $680.
