MSI X-Slim X320 netbook

Soon to be released by MSI, this is yet another notebook based on the Intel Atom platform. Atom has caught the fancy of manufacturers around the world who want to release small screen, cheaper laptops or “netbooks” as they are called. Though the design is sleek and sexy, at the first sight of this, we immediately thought of the MacBook Air. Don’t blame us, but we feel that the MSI design team really needs to apply more imagination when it comes to design.

This time though, we are seeing a 13.4″ screen which does put this netbook in a category of its own. Till now we were used to seeing the netbooks with screens ranging from 7″ to 10″ but 13.4″ takes it to the size of a laptop. We can understand when they want to give us smaller 10″ netbooks with a low power CPU like Atom but with a larger screen, the price is definitely going to go up and may go near the price of a laptop.

But, no word on the pricing as of now. We just have to wait and watch.
