With this software, finding your choice of restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, pizza joints takes just a few seconds. No more maps, no asking for directions. This software will show you the correct way always. The main advantage is having all the facilities of a dedicated GPS navigation system in your handset for less than 10$!

For navigation advice, you can avail of either the onscreen instructions or the voice feature.

Students at Berlin University of the Arts have come up with this quite outstanding new concept for keeping the kids in the back of the car happy and entertained.

They have created an in car gaming device that incorporates the world outside the car into the video game environment using a webcam strapped to the window of the car. The current demo version sees a spaceship dodging the buildings, trees and enemies to collect stars but the potential with this is endless you could have skateboarders doing tricks over the top of cars or Mario running across buildings. I think they are going to have to come up with a way for it to be projected onto the window for it to be really effective though.

I hope this will come to surface as an actual product soon as it will stop the “are we nearly there yet” comments coming from the back seat of the car.

People are getting more and more eco conscious and as they do we see more environmentally friendly products appearing on the market.

Peugeot’s HYmotion3 scooter is one of such products, it manages 118MPG which is impressive considering most current bikes are more pollutant than the average car.

The HYmotion3 has not only been designed to be eco friendly, but also safe as the scooter has 3 wheels, 2 at the front and one at the back meaning that it’s much more stable. If the scooter does ever roll then it’s protected by a roll cage similar to the BMW C1 roll cage. Though if I’m honest it doesn’t look all that safe since it as big gaping holes in the side and I do think it would look a lot better without them.

This is just a concept though so if you want to get your hands one you’re going to have to wait a while before you stick your hands in your pockets.
