The new 10 incher Acer Aspire One

With the spectacular success of the Acer 9” Aspire One netbook, Acer has now launched the 10 inch Acer Aspire One. The previous model revolutionized the netbook market sending all notebook makers into a netbook releasing spree. Since then we have seen many iterations of the netbook with similar configs but it is difficult to match upto the Acer. The bigger brother, i.e. the 10 incher Aspire One also seems to be ready to set new records.

This has a LED backlit display that is capable of producing a resolution of 1024X600. Along with the standard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth you also get the option of upgrading RAM up to 2GB. The earlier model only allowed 1GB of RAM. As before, there is a 160GB HDD and the trustworthy Atom CPU.

With the optional 6-cell battery, you can manage around 7 hours of movies, web and music. You get the option of 4 colours – white, red, black and blue. The OS is Windows XP Home Edition.

No word on the pricing yet, but we are pretty sure that Acer is not going to make a hole in your pocket if you are planning to pick up this netbook.
